Do you want to access carbon markets to restore or conserve critical coastal ecosystems but have found that the blue carbon project development process is too complex and that high-quality resources are hard to find? If so, the Blue Carbon Academy is for you.
This module helps you identify what data you need to collect and analyze to assess whether a project is viable. The Feasibility assessment is not an obligatory requirement to start engaging with carbon standards. It is, however, beneficial to demonstrate project readiness and viability and understand whether it is worth pushing its development forward.
Module 2 provides all the tools and knowledge necessary to develop a Feasibility Report and a “Pitch Deck” you can use to engage relevant stakeholders and investors. Ultimately, if your project is feasible and your relevant stakeholders are supportive, with this Module you will be ready to submit a Project Idea Note or PIN to your chosen Carbon Standard.
